The specialty deals with the rehabilitation of persons with various disabilities, most commonly neurologic and orthopedic disabilities. The conditions usually treated in this specialty are muscle and joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries, spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, neuropathy, Parkinsonism etc. Treatment aims at making the patients functionally as independent as possible within the limits of their disabilities.

Our Rehabilitation Medicine department consists of a team of professionals. They are the Rehabilitation Physician, Physical Therapists, Occupational therapists, Speech and Language Pathologist, and Clinical Psychologist. All these professionals work as a team to address the various needs of the patients seeking rehabilitation care in an attempt to provide comprehensive rehabilitation to all these patients.
